THE SCREAM BREAKS THE SILENCE

A bloodcurdling yell shattered the heavy silence. It echoed across the abandoned hall, triggering goosebumps to rise on my back. The heart hammered inside his chest as I tried to pinpoint the origin of the horrifying sound. Was it real? Or was my imagination playing overtime in the dim stillness? I stood frozen in terror, incapable to move. Sudden
